Since its inception in 1996, Fantasia has been an event hell-bent on showcasing the most exciting, innovative and individualistic examples of contemporary international genre cinema, with an emphasis on unveiling films very rarely seen in North America. Fantasia is seen as one of the most important fantasy, horror & anime festivals in North America.

When Fantasia re-launched its festival after a one-year hiatus, they wanted to bring their website to the next level and have it work for them both from a marketing perspective as well as a tool to provide fans with ever changing festival info as it happened. Fantasia selected Plank to develop their online strategy, website and a series of tools to help them do this.
