Segal Centre for Performing Arts at the Sadye has a special place in the Montreal cultural community. It now has a special place on the Web, thanks to Plank.

Segal Centre is so many things to so many people. The Centre is the Segal Theatre, the Academy, CinemaSpace, the Studio, and Yiddish Theatre. That's five distinct parts to the Centre, and the challenge for Plank was making that all work together in one website. Well, we think it's mission accomplished!

Through a crisp and clean design, users are enthralled by the images and style. Most importantly for the site was the ability to organize information about the five parts of the Centre in a way that users will find that information easily. Again, we think it's mission accomplished!

Given the amount of information on the site, it was essential to give the client the power to keep the site updated themselves. We installed a Content Management System that gives them full control over the site. And we mean full. It's not just the text and inline images that can be updated by the Segal Centre staff - it's the graphic callouts, the Flash headers, and more.
