The launch of this year’s Culture Days took place this past week in Vancouver and the momentum and buzz is growing.
Inspired by Quebec’s Journée de la culture (celebrating it’s 15th anniversary this year!), Culture Days is a 3-day pan-Canadian arts and culture event where anyone can organize and host an activity. It’s all about getting people involved in arts and culture, showcasing talents in their communities and showing Canadians how fun and easy it is to bring culture into their lives.
We are extremely happy to unveil some great enhancements to the Culture Days website this year. Plank’s Creative Director, Gary Brazier, wanted the site to be clean and fresh – letting the user-submitted activities and rich images speak for themselves – he hit the mark!
Also new this year are the Provincial Mini-sites, providing information tailored to each province.
We'll be rolling out some other useful tools for site visitors and activity submitters this summer...stay tuned!
