We’ve been busy giving Evolocity a complete makeover and we couldn’t be happier with our results. Evolocity was the the kind of project we love - they had just recently renamed the company, and decided that a complete online overhaul was in order. As a bunch of digital geeks- there’s nothing more exciting than getting to roll up our sleeves, and build a brand new digital persona from scratch.
Evolocity is a financial services company, completely owned and operated in Canada. They’re dedicated to providing small and medium business owners with the capital they may need to take their businesses to the next level. They’ve pushed away from conventional financing methods by offering merchant cash advances and business loans as flexible solutions tailored to the needs of all kinds of business owners. Plank wanted to translate this unique solution, into an equally unique digital strategy by giving Evolocity the crisp look it deserved.
We worked alongside a Montreal branding agency, who created a new logo and brand guide to help direct future design work. We adapted some of the branding guidelines to fit the needs of the digital realm, which allowed us to completely redo the corporate presence, and the application process for business loans.
We modernized the entire corporate site, complete with responsive web design and aligned with new web technology. We worked within the SalesForce platform a to ensure that our web design would work seamlessly with Evolocity's back-end loan application. The whole site was brought onto one of our favourite CMS platforms, WordPress, to make editing and updating easier for everyone involved.
Of course all of this was paired with front-end work where we focussed on creating a new internet experience for both existing and potential clientele. This allowed us to develop an image that was both consistent across all web components and social media platforms, as well as translated the friendly and trustworthy persona of Evolocity.
More importantly, we wanted to ensure the website became user-friendly to better cater to the small businesses Evolocity is most dedicated to. We understood that online forms are complicated and tedious, so we wanted to simplify the process while remaining within the existing business logic. The new loan application process now has intelligent logic built in which guides the application process based upon a prospectives clients submitted answers. This allows users to easily understand the application process flow and what stage they are at in the process, while not becoming intimidated by a complicated form.
